TRIVIA BOX:
Three remixes of Smack My Bitch Up were handed to Liam, one each from labelmates Jonny L and Slacker and one from DJ Hype. Liam liked them all but especially the one from DJ Hype so he chose to put that one on the single as a b-side. The Jonny L remix of Smack My Bitch Up was released on a free CD with the January '98 issue of Muzik Magazine. The Slacker remix has not been officially released (yet) but it was put out on a limited set of whitelabels very rarely seen around.

The second track 'No Man Army' is the instrumental full length version of the track 'One Man Army' which Liam made together with Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine for the Spawn soundtrack.

The third track 'Mindfields [Headrock Dub]' was originally to be released on the withdrawn 'Minefields' single which was only released on promo cassettes and a couple of testprint 12"s.

It's roumored that the sleeve for Smack My Bitch Up was supposed to feature a VW bug smashed around a light post but since Lady Diana was tragically killed in a car accident around the time of the release the cover got to feature the '96 breakdancing world world champion instead.
